This Lithium battery based Energy Storage System (ESS) is a replacement of conventional Diesel Generating Set. This can be charged with Grid power as well as Solar panels. It also has grid export feature that enables it to export excess power generated from solar panels to grid. This system can power load up to 18 kW. It can be connected to 18kW of solar panels. The system has 20kWH of battery bank. This should give you a backup of approximately 2 hours at 10kW of the load in absence of both solar and grid power. In case the sunlight is available, (and grid is not available), the system would try to power load entirely from solar power and would touch battery only when solar power is not enough. In case there is some residual power available even after powering all load and charging the batteries, the same would be exported to the grid thereby saving on the power bills.

This an be a substitute for Diesel Generator Set. It overcomes the biggest drawback of DG Set – very high fuel and maintenance cost which only increases with time  – on the contrary, this solution has zero running as well as maintenance cost. The 6000 lifecycles lithium cells ensures a long life of more than 15 years.

This can also be integrated with DG set wherein the primary power source will be solar and batteries. In case where there is no alternate power source available/sufficient – viz grid, solar, batteries the system will start DG set and provide power to premises. Once, other power source becomes available, the system will stop DG and fall back on the cheapest power source. This combination ensures guaranteed power supply no matter how long the grid is unavailable or what the weather conditions are. Note: DG-ESS sync is not part of standard product.
