This Lithium battery based Energy Storage System (ESS) is a replacement of conventional Diesel Generating Set. This can be charged with Grid power as well as Solar panels. It also has grid export feature that enables it to export excess power generated from solar panels to grid. This system can power load upto 20 kW. It can be connected to 20kW of solar panels. The system has 20kWH of battery bank. As such, it can power entire load of the premises on solar (it will disconnect grid power automatically) as well as charge the battery bank. After sunset, in case there is  power failure, it can support entire load for around 1 hour. This power bank is scalable, which means, if you need, you can increase the backup capacity by adding more battery trays. This setup will power load of 20kW for 1 hour OR 10kW load for 2 hours.

This is an ideal replacement for Diesel Generator Set. It overcomes the biggest drawback of DG Set – very high fuel and maintenance cost which only increases with time  – on the contrary, this solution has zero running as well as maintenance cost. The 6000 lifecycles lithium cells ensures a long life of more than 15 years. With increasing focus of government on shifting away from fossil fuel, it will be become  even more difficult and expensive to continue using DG Set.
